The Massacre at Black Divide
The Massacre at Black Divide is a short sci-fi western I Directed and Produced in 2016. I collaborated with actors Jeff Rosick and Morgan to develop the story and we shot the film over 3 days on location in the sierra mountains of California. The film went on to play at various film festivals across the country and is proof of that a few talented individuals can make a film that excites and engages audiences on a low budget and with limited resources.

Synopsis
Set in the year 1881, The Massacre at Black Divide is a sci-fi western about two guilt-ridden men who are trying to change their lives through an act of redemption.
The short follows the story of an encounter in the wilderness of California’s sierra nevada mountains. One man believes the other to be the infamous outlaw Thomas Vandeford and take him prisoner until he can prove his identity. Tension builds as he questions whether his hostage is innocent or indeed the deadly outlaw he is hunting.
By the end of the encounter both men will discover that they each hold secrets and only one man will survive the outcome.
Their story will prove that family bonds are never broken and sometimes it’s the future that eventually catches up with the past.
THE CAST
JEFF ROSICK
Jeff Rosick is an actor from Portland, OR. He is best known for playing Buddy Garrity Jr on NBC’s Friday Night Lights. He is also a television, music composer and graphic designer.
MORGAN WEST
Morgan West is an actor best know for Disney’s Stuck in the Middle (2017), Comedy Bang! Bang! (2016), Age of of Tomorrow, Airplane vs Volcano and Camp Abercorn.
